Vessels and Bowls: What do they hold?

Vessels hold deep symbolic and spiritual significance, representing both containment and potential. The shape or form of a vessel may symbolize physical form, protection, and boundaries, encapsulating the external aspects of life and the tangible world.  When I form a vessel, I consciously imbue it with a meaning or a use.  Examples are the “Prosperity Vessels” and “Blessing Bowls” shown below.

“Wisdom Bowl” Heavy, hand-hammered copper with swirls and blue-green patina. Made with intent to bring wisdom into a space.

“Texas Blessing Bowl” Hand-hammered copper with an Argentium Texas star. This bowl is made to capture the blessings in life and share them forward.

“Prosperity Vessel “ Heavy, hand-hammered copper with blue-green patina. Made with intent to bring prosperity to its home.

“ Bronze Alchemical Vessels” Ten parts copper and one part tin; the discovery of bronze is considered the metal critical to developing civilization.

“Prosperity Vessel 2” Heavy, hand-hammered copper with blue-green patina. Made with intent to bring prosperity to its home.

“Pewter Moon Platter” Hand-hammered from pewter, also called Britannia Silver, this simple platter glows with a light all its own.
